Sales and Business Development Director

Location: London / flexible

This is a pivotal role for Pimloc’s future development that comes with a high level of autonomy and opportunity to steer the development of a new business. Working alongside the CEO the Business Development Director is responsible for the identification, exploration, validation, and closing of commercial opportunities for Pimloc’s video privacy and security products.

Responsibilities

  • Identification, validation, development and closing of commercial opportunities for Secure Redact and Pholio. Including current inbound customer pipeline, law enforcement prospects, mobility / transport businesses and exploration of wider vertical opportunities.
  • Close direct sales opportunities and develop commercial agreements.
  • Work with technical team on product requirements and customer foresight.
  • Work with digital head to support planning and review of digital campaign roadmap.
  • Support CEO on government projects / engagements.
  • Lead Pimloc’s engagements with trade bodies and associations.
  • This role is initially focussed on UK/EU opportunities but will also get involved in global business development with US, Australia and Middle East over time.

Required Skills

  • Min 3+ year’s proven experience in sales and business development roles.
  • Self-starter, used to getting things done, results driven.
  • Comfortable with technical product and services.
  • Strong negotiation skills, commercially astute.
  • Great communicator and listener.
  • Used to working in a fast-paced, dynamic, small team.
  • Tenacity with intelligence: driven, entrepreneurial and analytical.

Desired Skills

  • Experience working with, or interest in, national security or general security / video.
  • Experience working with AI / Machine learning products and services.
